The Last Breath of Gold

At the very bottom of the sky, the sun makes her final stand.

A sliver of orange. A whisper of yellow. Warm and ancient and achingly beautiful — holding on for just one more moment before she lets go.

But she has already given everything away.

Above her, the sky has transformed. Pink has melted into purple. Purple has deepened into blue. And the stars — patient, eternal — have begun to arrive, one by one, to take their place in the night.

This is the moment the whole world stops for. The moment people cross oceans to witness. The moment that needs no translation, no explanation — only stillness, and a full heart.
